The Nitecore NW5000 is a compact and lightweight power bank equipped with a built-in 5000 mAh lithium-ion battery, with both wired and wireless charging and designed for day to day use.
Featuring a 18 W fast charge, the NW5000 is perfect for charging a range of devices such as torches, mobile phones, tablets, smart watches or devices etc via the standard USB-C port on the bottom of the power bank or from the wireless interface on the front of the power bank. To charge devices using the USB-C port, simply connect the devices charging cable, the blue indicators will display the level of remaining battery level and charging will begin automatically.
When using the wireless charging feature, firstly start by confirming that your device is compatible with wireless charging. The white wireless indicator will flash three times to indicate that wireless charging is available. Place the device on the magnetic surface of the power bank, the strong magnetic force keeps your device safely attached to the NW5000, and charging begins automatically once the NW500 has registered the device. While charging the device the white wireless and the blue power indicators will display.
For low current devices like smart watches or headphones, the NW5000 features a convenient low current mode. Simply double-press the mode button, and the indicators will light up in a chaser pattern to confirm activation. The power bank automatically turns off the low current mode after two hours of inactivity, or you can manually exit by pressing the mode button. It is recommend to exit the low current mode when the power bank is not in use.
The USB-C port serves both as an input and output, allowing you to charge your devices and charge the power banks battery. Connect a USB-C cable to the port (not included), and the blue LED charging indicators will flash in sequence as the NW5000 charges up. Once fully charged, all four lights will glow solid blue.
The four blue indicators will also display battery status so you always know how much power you have by pressing the mode button on the side of the power bank, or while being discharged. Four lights is 75-100%, three lights is 50-75%, two lights is 25-50%, one light is 3-25% and one flashing light is 0-3% and the power bank should be charged as soon as possible.
The safeguards of the NW5000 include overcurrent, short circuit, over-discharge, overcharge, overvoltage, thermal protection, over power, and electromagnetic field protection. Plus, it's airline approved, with a capacity of less than 100 Wh, making it an ideal travel companion for charging devices on the go.
