NEBO Torchy 2K Rechargeable LED Torch

The Nebo Torchy 2K is an updated version of the original Torchy, now offering a maximum output of 2000 lumens on the turbo boost setting (an increase of 1000 lumens!), which can be activated for 30 seconds at a time to provide boosts of powerful light.

For constant use the high setting offers a maximum of 500 lumens output and there are also mid and low brightness levels, as well as a strobe output to choose from. All outputs are controlled with the single side button, which also features a battery power indicator underneath that will glow orange when the battery level is over 25% and will turn flash orange every second when the battery levels drops below 25% to remind you to charge the battery.

The torch is turned on with a single press and will cycle through high, mid, low and off with each press. The turbo is accessed by holding down the button in any state, and it will stay on for 30 seconds before returning to the previous state, or alternatively you can press the button once to exit the turbo before the 30 seconds has elapsed.

To activate strobe quickly double press the button in any state and single press to exit it again. If left in low, mid or high for longer than 8 seconds the next press will turn the light off rather than cycling to the next mode. The last used brightness output, except turbo and strobe, will be remembered the next time the torch is turned on if it was left in that mode for 8 seconds before being turned off.

Smart Power Control technology will gradually increase the light when the torch is turned on or when changing between modes, allowing the users eyes to adjust to the brightness change more easily and also to reduce the power consumption of the torch.

The Torchy 2K is powered by a 18650 lithium-ion battery that is recharged using the included Mag-Cable magnetic charging USB cable. Simply connect the magnet to the base of the Torchy 2K and plug the USB end into a computer or suitable adaptor. The light on the cable will go red to show charging is in progress and turn blue once charging is complete, after approximately 3 hours.

As well as charging, the magnetic base can also be utilised to attach the torch to magnetic surfaces to use as a hands free work light, while a two way pocket clip provides easy attachment to a pocket, backpack or a belt.
