These holders were originally designed for pilots, but they are also great for camping, boating, travel or at home.

Very handy battery storage

I have to be honest, I only added this product to my order as it put me past the threshold for paying for postage and packing. Having said that, I'm very glad I did because it is well made and, for me, extremely useful. The holder safely stores six cells in such a way that it is unlikely that they will be short circuited as both ends of each cell are recessed in the plastic moulding. The item is very light-weight as it is basically a framework of plastic that holds the cells securely, perfect for campers, backpackers, walkers, holidays and for EDC (Every-day carry). Despite its weight it is strong and robust and takes up very little space. I find the fact that it holds six cells especially useful as I have torches and head-torches that take three cells and using this means I have two spare sets of cells and no wasted space or extra weight. Most cases hold four cells.

Let there be light!

This useful set of lighting units - four of them - are each connected to a control-cum-battery unit, the battery being rechargeable. They are constructed from good quality alloy, and other materials for the bendy parts. They have a reassuring quality feel about them. A nice touch is that you can have the control unit engraved, say, with your initials.
Although I have not used any of the components "in anger" as yet, it is good to have a set of different lighting units for different purposes.
