The Davinci 2000 is part of Nebo's new Davinci line, which is comprised of rechargeable torches that offer intense, precise and adjustable lighting using a proprietary Mode Select Dial™, complete with a sleek design.
The high power LED outputs an intensely bright beam of 2000 lumens at maximum setting, with a beam distance of 259 metres. The 4x zoom allows you to focus the torch from spot to flood by sliding the head backwards and forwards, making it perfect for searching or scanning large areas as well as looking further into the distance.
Four brightness levels are available as well as strobe to suit your specific needs. The light is turned on and off with the tail button, and the outputs can be changed with the mode selection dial on the head which can be twisted to line up the red marker with H, M, L or S. The dial uses seamless power control to create a seamless transition between the outputs which helps to extend battery life, and the indicator under the tail button will light up blue to show good battery level, and change to red when the battery needs to be charged.
The Davinci 2000 is powered by the included customised dual polarity 18650 rechargeable lithium-ion battery*, which provides 2 hours run-time on the highest output. The battery is easily recharged inside the torch via the hidden micro USB port on the tail of the light by unscrewing the tail dust cover and inserting the charging cable into the micro USB port at one end, and connecting the other end to a USB power source. While charging the charging indicator will turn red to show charging is in progress and turn blue to show charging is complete after approximately 4 hours full charge time.
In addition to the light function, the Davinci 2000 also has a power bank feature and can charge external devices via the standard USB-A port located next to the micro USB port on the tail. To charge an external device simply plug the USB-A end of the required cable for your device into the USB-A port on the light and the device should begin charging automatically.
Dust and waterproof to IP67 standards, it can submerged under water to 1 metres depth for up to 30 minutes, making it perfect for use in many different environments and a removable wrist lanyard allows for easy carrying.
Note: *Unscrew the head to remove the battery and plastic isolation disc before use, then reinsert the battery and ensure the head is screwed back on tightly.
