Ledlenser P4R WORK Rechargeable LED Penlight

The brand new WORK Series is here, and the P4R WORK is a rechargeable Penlight that offers a maximum output of 170 lumens on the highest setting from a single power LED.

The P4R WORK is very similar to the P4R Core, but with enhanced features and added accessories that make it tailored to the working environment, such as the ability to charge the battery inside the torch using the included magnetic USB cable, and the inclusion of a holster and lanyard for easy carrying.

One prominent enhancement is the higher colour rendering index of 80 and neutral white LED with a colour temperature of 4300 K. The higher CRI means the beam resembles that of morning sunlight, making colours appear more clearly to the human eye and also reducing eye strain, which makes this great for professionals such as electricians who need to clearly see the difference in wire colours.

A low profile rubberised tail switch features yellow detailing and provides easy and comfortable operation, with a full press of the tail switch turning the light on and off, and if done within 3 seconds of each other will cycle the brightness levels. The brightness level can also be selected with the torch off by softly pressing the tail switch in quick succession to cycle through high, mid, low and fully pressing the button in to select the desired output.

The slim design, 62 gram lightweight body and varying outputs make the P4R WORK the perfect inspection light for small spaces, or even lighting your immediate area around you thanks to the advanced focus system that allows you to smoothly transition the light from spot to flood by twisting the head of the torch.

The tail end unscrews to install the included Ledlenser 750 mAh 10900 lithium-ion battery, with the positive end towards the head, and the tail cap can then be screwed back on as tight as it will go to ensure a good connection. It is charged inside the torch via the magnetic charging point located on the tail by connecting the magnetic end of the included cable to the charging point, and the standard USB into a suitable USB power source. The LED charging indicator will turn red to show charging is in progress and change to green once charging is complete after approximately 2 hours, 30 minutes for a full charge.

The included pocket clip can be used to attach the torch to a back pack or clothing, and can also be removed if desired by unscrewing the tail cap and sliding it over the threads.
