The Coast PX100 is a compact, professional ultraviolet torch with a 400 nm wavelength emitted from a single UV LED.

A single push button on the tail of the torch turns the light on and off for easy operation.

This is a very effective UV torch. Very happy with purchase.

Disappointing product

My search was for rechargeable UV torches. This one uses a AA cell so if I buy a rechargable cell and a charger, then this is technically "rechargable". It also turns out to be much smaller than it looked. A photo with a comparison object would have steered me away from this torch to look for others. It is not what I wanted and the price is steep for such a small version. I am not returning it because that is not worth the effort.

Let there be light!

This useful set of lighting units - four of them - are each connected to a control-cum-battery unit, the battery being rechargeable. They are constructed from good quality alloy, and other materials for the bendy parts. They have a reassuring quality feel about them. A nice touch is that you can have the control unit engraved, say, with your initials.
Although I have not used any of the components "in anger" as yet, it is good to have a set of different lighting units for different purposes.
