The Xtar D2 is a two bay fast charger designed specifically for 3.6/3.7 V lithium-ion/IMR/ICR/INR 18650 sized batteries. This makes it great for charging vape batteries, but also for charging your 18650 torch batteries.
If only the left hand bay has a battery in and the right hand bay is empty then the D2 can charge the battery at a speed of 2 A, taking only 1 hour, 30 minutes to fully charge a 2500 mAh 18650 lithium-ion battery. If both bays have a battery in then the charging output will drop to 1 A per bay.
The D2 charger features four LED charging indicators above each bay that light flash in turn as the battery charges up, with each light gradually becoming solid as the battery charges, eventually with all four lights turning solid blue. If all four lights start flashing at the same time this indicates that the battery is short circuited or that it has been inserted in the charging bay with reverse polarity. If no lights come on this means either the charger isn't connected to power or it is on standby.
A handy feature of this charger is the 0 V activation function. Simply insert the battery into the slot and revivable batteries will start charging within 10 minutes.
