Ledlenser K6R Rechargeable LED Key Ring Torch

The Ledlenser K6R is a stylish and compact rechargeable key ring torch that has 200 lumens on the highest constant power setting, or a maximum of 400 lumens on the boost setting which will only last for 10 seconds at a time.

Charging the built-in 550 mAh lithium-ion battery is super easy, as the K6R features a diamond knurled fold out USB-A interface which plugs directly into a USB power source saving the need for extra cables, and for convenient charging on the go. The LED charging indicator on the front will go red to show charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 3 hours.

A single push button operates the torch, which is nestled under the fold out USB-A interface, however it can be operated with the USB connector in the closed position by pressing the top of the diamond pattern. Single presses of the button will cycle through low, high, red and off, or if you are in any mode for longer than 5 seconds the next press will turn the light off instead of cycling the modes.

You can double press the button within 5 seconds to access the boost mode while the torch is on or off, and the boost will last for 10 seconds before reverting to the last used mode. Direct to red access is possible by holding down the button for 2 seconds while the light is off. When the light is first turned on the LED indicator will briefly light up either green, yellow or red to notify the user of remaining battery power. When it reaches red the torch has less than 25% power and it should be charged as soon as possible.

Red light is the best colour for protecting the natural night vision of your eyes and reduces eye strain in low light situations. It is a great lighting source for aircraft cockpits, truck cabins, confined spaces and also useful for particular tasks such as map reading, astronomy and animal watching.

To prevent accidental activation when not in use, the K6R has a lockout function which can be activated by holding the button down for 5 seconds while the light is off (it will access the red mode first, and then blink white twice to confirm it is locked out). To unlock it again simply hold the button for 2 seconds and it will blink twice before entering the low mode.

For easy carry the light features a small carabiner clip to attach it to your keys, so it is always to hand when you need it.

Please note: The K6R is not protected against water ingress, therefore it is not advised to use the torch in wet conditions or in areas where it can be potentially dropped in water.

Tested according to ANSI FL1 standard using the built-in 550 mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery. These results are average values which in individual cases can deviate by ± 15% for technical reasons.

*The boost mode can be used multiple times, however only last for 10 seconds at a time, and may not be available if the battery level is too low.
