This torch gives simply a phenominal bean for it's small size. As with most LED Lensers you can adjust the bean from spot to flood; and I find that flood is excellent for say, where there's a group of you walking down a un-lit path. However, even on spot the beam is NOT just pencil thin but of a reasonable width to be useful.
The torch is small and light enough to be 'Every Day Carry'.
In truth I would have preferred to have given it 4.75 stars - as I do think some improvements could be made in the way you change modes. To go from high to low you're supposed to press the button once and then turn fully on within a second, likewise to go to strobe you need to press twice then on - however, I find you actually have to do this a lot quicker than you think, so it can be easy to fail to get the mode you want. Given that the strobe is supposed to be used for defence I wonder if it wouldn't be best if the modes are reversed - so it operates as Strobe, Low, High? However, this is a minor gripe - it really is a great product what oozes quality.
