Ledlenser iL7 ATEX Zone 2/22 LED Torch

The LED Lenser iL7 intrinsically safe torch is ATEX Zone 2/22 compliant and uses a high quality LED to deliver 340 lumens of white light.

The industrial strength polycarbonate body features a removable pocket clip so that it can be easily carried on a shirt pocket or on a trouser pocket. The pocket clip is screwed into place and can be removed using a flat head screwdriver.

The iL7 is powered by three AA alkaline batteries which are fitted by unscrewing the head of the torch, removing the battery carrier and then inserting the batteries into the carrier as indicated by the + and  - at the ends of each battery slot. The battery carrier is then reinserted into the body of the torch, ensuring that the arrow on the carrier lines up with the arrow on the rim of the body and the head is then screwed back on tightly. Never open the torch when in an explosive environment.

The selector ring switch on the body has two off positions, low position and high position so you can easily select the brightness level required. A fresh set of batteries provides a run-time of up to 37 hours on low. Always remove depleted batteries as soon as possible and also remove batteries before storing the torch to avoid battery leakage.

The IP66 rating means that this torch is dustproof as well as water resistant to a powerful water jet. Due to the energy saving features the output will gradually drop throughout use to preserve the battery life.

* The lumen output will gradually decrease from 100% to 60% over 1 hour and then from 60% to 20% over 4 hours, 30 minutes and it will run at 20% for the remainder of the battery life in order to prolong the run-time.
** The lumen output will gradually decrease from 100% to 60% over 3 hours and then from 60% to 20% over 30 hours and it will then run at 20% for the remainder of the battery life in order to prolong the run-time.
