Olight Perun Mini Rechargeable Versatile LED Head Torch

The Olight Perun Mini is a versatile head torch that utilises a high performance cool white LED to emit a maximum output of 1000 lumens, which drops to 250 lumens after 1 minutes use to protect the LED from overheating.

Unlike a traditional hand torch, the light does not come from the end of the torch and instead comes from the side of the torch making the Perun Mini a versatile unit. It can easily be used in the hand, or when attached to a shirt pocket with the included clip the light is perfectly pointing outwards from the body so it can be used hands free. The PMMA optical lens provides a wide, soft beam with a broad hotspot which is perfect for up close lighting and carrying out tasks in your immediate area.

The Perun Mini can also be used as a head torch with the compatible headband, which features a velcro section, so when the Perun mini is sat in the bracket of the included duty patch, the duty patch can easily be velcroed to the front of the headband.

The velcro duty patch also allows the Perun Mini to be attached to other items of clothing such as shirts, hats or backpacks that have a material that velcro loop will attach to. In order to mount the Perun Mini onto the duty patch, it has bracket with a hole in the centre in which you slide in the pocket clip for secure attachment, and thanks to the new pocket clip design with rounded ends, the torch will not easily come away from the pocket clip. While mounted in the bracket the torch can also be rotated within a 60° angle, allowing you to direct the light where you need it most.

It is powered using the included Olight IMR16340 550 mAh tailored lithium-ion battery, which is recharged inside the torch using the included MCC1 magnetic charging cable. Simply connect the magnet to the base of the Perun Mini and plug the USB end into a computer or the mains using a suitable USB adaptor. The indicator light on the magnet will go red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 1.2 hours, if the power supply is sufficient enough to support the 1 A output, otherwise charging may take longer.

Featuring five brightness levels and SOS, the torch is turned on and off with a single press of the push button that is located on the top of the torch. Select the brightness level with the torch turned on by holding the switch to cycle through low, mid and high in turn, whilst a quick double click will access and exit turbo. The moonlight mode of 2 lumens can be accessed directly when the torch is off by pressing and holding down the switch. SOS is activated by three quick presses of the switch.

A handy lockout function prevents the torch from being accidentally activated and is accessed by pressing and holding the switch for 2 seconds while the light is off. It will firstly enter moonlight mode, but continue to hold the button and the light will then lockout.
