Nitecore NU05 LE Rechargeable LED Signal Light

The Nitecore NU05 LE is an ultra compact, light weight and durable signal light that is ideally suited to close range lighting and visibility purposes.

All the outputs are flashing signals with a total of five different ones that comprise of red flashing, green flashing, blue flashing, white flashing and alternating red and blue police warning flashing. The different colours can be useful in a number of applications, such as a front or rear helmet light when doing various activities, used in law enforcement or even as a safety light for aiding visibility to other road users on dark roads.

A single button is located in the centre of the light, turning it on by holding down the button for over 1 second and the light will come on in the previously used setting. If you want to change from the last used setting, instead of releasing the button when the light comes on, continue to hold the button for over 5 seconds and the light will begin to cycled through the outputs, then release the button once the desired output is reached. Hold the button down for 1 second to turn the light of again.

The lamp unit is versatile as it can be attached to clothing, a backpack or a police vest using the integrated clip or with the supplied bracket it can mounted to a helmet with either the velcro section or with bungee cord through the hook and loop design. The clever design means single press won't accidentally activate it in transit, or change the output while in use, which could be very important if being used for law enforcement applications.

It is powered by a built-in 120 mAh lithium-ion battery which is recharged via the USB port on the bottom of the light using the included USB charging cable. The indicator will glow red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes.

A red power indicator next to the button will flash to show remaining battery power when the button is pressed once with the light off. Three flashes indicates the power level is above 50%, two flashes indicates the power level is below 50% and one flash indicates it is below 10% and should be charged soon.
