Maximus 3 in 1 COB LED Work Light

The Maximus versatile 3 in 1 work light has multiple ways of being used, making it a good all round torch for many tasks.

It can be used as a hand-held torch with the white 1 W LED spotlight with an output of 60 lumens or it can be used as a head torch with the head band and bracket, with the white 3 W COB LED offering a maximum output of 200 lumens.

The third option is to be used as a hands free work light with either the COB LED to light up a large space or the spot to be directed at a particular area, which can be achieved with the magnet that is built into the base. The base also has a tilting feature that allows the light to be rotated within a 180° angle so that the light can be positioned to suit the task at hand.

The torch is operated with the push button located on the front of the torch and cycles between the spot and COB outputs. 

The back of the light features a pocket clip for carrying and is useful for using the COB LED when attached to clothing. A hanging hook is also tucked away at the base which can be pulled out for easy attachment to a pole or a hook.

Powered by three AAA alkaline batteries.

Handy little torch

I bought this torch to help me whilst altering the kitchen plumbing. Trying to squeeze myself into a kitchen cupboard and see what I was doing with a torch in my mouth was difficult! This torch was a God send, it gives plenty of light without a harsh glare. It is versatile - it can be used as a head torch (with a good quality head strap). Excellent product.

A good and very simple head torch to use

I purchased this torch for a friend who had previously had head torches but found the various settings extremely fiddly to operate when in use. The criteria was for ease of use, light weight, a white light and focusing was not a requirement.

This torch utilises a single switch to activate all the modes. On/off and the different light settings. Couldn't be simpler.

The torch may seem expensive, but you get a high quality product that does what it says on the tin.

Torch Direct delivered within two days and very well packaged as always.

Fantastic Headtorch for running

Had one of these for 2 years now. Ran two 100 milers and a 100k overnight, used it loads for off-road running. I bought a spare battery (as per ultra running kit list), but in all honesty 1 battery lasted two full nights on the medium "flood" setting. I haven't had to use the "spot" light, the flood is good enough. The ONLY thing that bugs me, is you need to wear a hat/bandanna/sweatband to stop the light bouncing down. It's not a big issue though and certainly won't stop me buying another one for the Mrs.
