Maximus 1 W Spot and 3 W COB LED Work Light

The Maximus work light can be used as a hand-held torch with the white 1 W LED spotlight with an output of 100 lumens, or to light up more area it can be used as a work light with the white 3 W COB LED offering a maximum output of 200 lumens. 

The torch is operated with the large push button located on the front of the torch and cycles between the spot and COB. 

The base of the torch features two strong magnets to provide easy hands free lighting and there is a gap between the two magnets with  grippers inside so that the torch can be slotted on to a thin edge. The base also has a tilting feature that allows the light to be rotated within a 200° angle so that the light can be positioned to suit the task at hand. A hanging hook is also folded away at the back which can be pulled out and swivelled 360° for easy attachment to a pole or a hook.

Powered by three AAA alkaline batteries.

For the price so impressive

At this price point I am so impressed with this torch/light. Portable, lightweight and so versatile with the magnets, hook, clip and swivel base. Light is very bright as well. 100% would recommend exactly what I wanted.

Ideal for work or emergencies

Bought this as a pensioner to help me primarily in power cuts, can angle the light where needed and it even attaches magnetically to fridge etc, surfaces. Highly recommended.

A good and very simple head torch to use

I purchased this torch for a friend who had previously had head torches but found the various settings extremely fiddly to operate when in use. The criteria was for ease of use, light weight, a white light and focusing was not a requirement.

This torch utilises a single switch to activate all the modes. On/off and the different light settings. Couldn't be simpler.

The torch may seem expensive, but you get a high quality product that does what it says on the tin.

Torch Direct delivered within two days and very well packaged as always.

Fantastic Headtorch for running

Had one of these for 2 years now. Ran two 100 milers and a 100k overnight, used it loads for off-road running. I bought a spare battery (as per ultra running kit list), but in all honesty 1 battery lasted two full nights on the medium "flood" setting. I haven't had to use the "spot" light, the flood is good enough. The ONLY thing that bugs me, is you need to wear a hat/bandanna/sweatband to stop the light bouncing down. It's not a big issue though and certainly won't stop me buying another one for the Mrs.
