Ledlenser iLH8 ATEX Zone 2/22 LED Head Torch

The LED Lenser iLH8 is an intrinsically safe head torch for use in ATEX zone 2/22 locations and has an output of 280 lumens using a white LED.

The iLH8 is powered by three AA alkaline batteries which are fitted by unscrewing the side of the battery compartment on the rear of the head band, removing the battery carrier and then inserting the batteries into the carrier as indicated by the + and - at the ends of each battery slot. The battery carrier is then reinserted into the battery compartment, ensuring that the arrow on the carrier lines up with the arrow on the rim of the body and the cover is then screwed back on tightly. Never open the torch when in a explosive environment.

The selector ring switch on the head has two off positions, low position and high position so you can easily select the brightness level required. A fresh set of batteries provides a run-time of up to 38 hours on low and the battery compartment features a red light to warn you when the batteries need replacing. Always remove depleted batteries as soon as possible and also remove batteries before storing the torch to avoid battery leakage.

Like most LED Lenser head torches, the iLH8 has a focusing feature on the head of the torch that can be twisted to focus the light between spot and flood light to suit your requirements.

The IP66 rating means that this torch is dustproof as well as water resistant to a powerful water jet. Due to the use this product is intended for it is advised that it is cleaned down regularly with a dry lint free cloth to prevent dust buildup on the outer casing.

* The lumen output will gradually decrease from 100% to 60% over 1 hour and then from 60% to 20% over 5 hours and it will run at 20% for the remainder of the battery life in order to prolong the run-time.
** The lumen output will gradually decrease from 100% to 60% over 3 hours and then from 60% to 20% over 30 hours and it will then run at 20% for the remainder of the battery life in order to prolong the run-time.
