Fenix PD32 V2.0 LED Torch

The Fenix PD32 V2.0 is a compact and lightweight LED torch that delivers 1200 lumens maximum output from the OSRAM KW CSLPM1.TG LED. It is powered by either two non rechargeable CR123A lithium metal batteries or one rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery (not included).

With a maximum beam distance of 395 metres in a compact package, the PD32 V2.0 LED torch is ideal for dog walkers who appreciate a lighter torch with great beam distance, but equally is great for tactical operations or hunting as it is compatible with the ALG-00 gun mount and AER-02 V2.0 pressure switch.

Offering three brightness levels and strobe, the torch is operated using the tactical tail button. The light is turned on and off by fulling clicking the tail switch or momentary illumination can be achieved by half pressing the tail button while the light is off. With the light turned on half presses of the button will cycle through low, mid and high. The last used brightness level will be memorised for when the light is next turned on. Holding the button for 0.5 seconds in any state will access the strobe setting and one press of the button will revert back to the previous brightness level.

A battery level indicator will automatically display the battery status each time the torch is turned on if you are using a 18650 lithium-ion battery. Constant green indicates a full charge, green flashes is sufficient charge, red constant is poor battery level and red flashes indicates critical battery level.

When using an 18650 battery, if the battery voltage drops below the preset level, the PD32 V2.0 is designed to downshift in brightness level until the low output is reached. When low is reached the torch will flash 3 times every 5 minutes to remind you to charge or replace the battery.

The intelligent over-heat protection will drop the high brightness level if the internal temperature reaches 60°C or above. When the temperature has reduced the light will automatically go back up to full brightness. This is to protect the LED from damage and prevent the surface temperature from becoming too high.

Note: *The high mode is measured at total run-time including any reduced output levels due to the temperature regulation design.

Tested in laboratory conditions to ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard using 1 x Fenix 3500 mAh 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable battery under the temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% - 80%. Results may vary between torch, battery and environments.
