Elwis Pro D6 Rechargeable COB LED Inspection Light

The Elwis Pro D6 is a dual function unit offering a front main light with 500 lumens maximum output from a 6 W COB LED and also a single 3 W SMD LED torch light with 140 lumens output.

The COB LED on the main body of the torch has a high colour rendering index (CRI ≥ 95+) and a colour temperature of 6000 K that provides a natural light colour. The high CRI means the beam resembles that of sunlight, making colours appear more clearly to the human eye and also reduces eye strain. This combined with the widespread light, thanks to the wide reflector, makes it perfect for up close inspection work such as painting, as the colours are seen more accurately.

The single LED in the head of the torch also has a high CRI and provides a concentrated beam with spill light for tasks where focused light is required.

The torch is operated with the rubberised push button on the back of the light, with each press the light cycles through the torch light, main light low, main light mid, main light high and off.

Utilising a built-in rechargeable 18650 3.7 V 2600 mAh lithium-ion battery, the D6 provides a run-time of up to 2 hours on the highest setting and is easily charged back up using the supplied USB charging cable. Simply pop open the rubber dust cover on the back and insert the cable into the micro USB port, then plug the USB end straight into a computer USB port, or into a USB mains/car adaptor. Three battery LED indicators will illuminate steadily to indicate that the unit is being charged and all three will go solid green when charging is complete. The charging time is approximately 4 hours.

Featuring multiple ways for hands free use, the D6 has a strong magnet built into the base of the torch, which is hinged, allowing the torch to be directed forwards or backwards within a 180° angle. There is also a hanging hook tucked away at the back of the torch that can be pulled out to hang the torch from a tent or tree branch.

A low battery warning function will flash 5 times to notify the user that 5 minutes run-time is remaining and the torch requires charging. A spare plastic lens is included as well as four rubber bands so that you can customise your torch with a choice of yellow, green, purple or glow in the dark. The colours are good for differentiating between two torches if you and a friend have the same model and the glow in the dark band makes it useful for finding the torch at night.
