The Nitecore EC23 utilises a Cree XHP-35 HD E2 LED and has a maximum output of 1800 lumens, which is super powerful relative to its size. For a torch of this size to reach maximum output it requires a 18650 lithium-ion battery with a high discharge current of 8 A or higher, or a IMR18650 lithium-ion battery.
