NEBO Luxtreme SL75 Rechargeable LED Torch

The Nebo Luxtreme SL75 is a rechargeable torch that is part the new Luxtreme SL range, offering only a spot LED which is capable of shining 3/4 of a mile (1200 metres).

The highest setting has a maximum of 780 lumens output with a run-time of 5 hours. An orange mode selector dial on the back allows for selection of the outputs, rotating through to the left from the off position (O), to low (L), high (M) and high (H). Once the desired mode has been selected, the light can then be turned on with the trigger style button on the front of the torch, allowing for one handed mode changing and operation.

If the trigger button is pressed while the selector dial is in the off position the torch will display the battery power status via the 4 indicator LEDs above the dial. Approximate battery status is 100% with 1 red + 3 green lights, 75% with 1 red + 2 green lights, 50% with 1 red + 1 green lights and 25% with 1 red light.

Smart Power Control technology will gradually increase the light when the torch is turned on or when changing between modes, allowing the users eyes to adjust to the brightness change more easily and also to reduce the power consumption of the torch.

The torch is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack (2 x 21700) which is charged inside the torch via the USB-C charging port located on the base of the torch, and is revealed by lifting the dust cover. Simply plug the included cable into the USB-C port at one end and plug the other end into a USB power source. The last charging indicator will flash while charging is in progress until all four light are solid. A USB car charger adaptor is also included for in car charging, and the light can be ran continuously while connected to the car charger, which is handy if you need light on the go.

With an ingress protection rating of IP67, the Luxtreme SL75 is fully dust resistant and is waterproof up to 1 m depth for 30 minutes. A belt clip is attached to the base of the light, and can be taken off or attached to either side of the base to suit your needs, and a lanyard is included for extra security while carrying. There is also a magnet in the base for attaching to magnetic surfaces and it is tripod mountable with the tripod socket in the top of the head.
