Fenix CL20R Rechargeable LED Camping Lantern

The Fenix CL20R updates the standard CL20 and is now micro USB rechargeable, offers a higher lumen output from an increased number of white LEDs, a larger 15 metre beam diameter and all these improved features are packed into a smaller compact design.

The 16 neutral white LEDs along with an textured globe provide a maximum of 300 lumens of soft and even light with 360° illumination, which make it great for night fishing, gear organisation and other night time camping tasks.

The CL20R also features two red LEDs and provides constant red light and flashing red light. The red light preserves night vision and is less likely to wake fellow campers or attract mosquitoes. The red flash can help attract attention in an emergency.

Turn the lantern on by holding the button for 0.5 seconds and then each press will cycle through low, mid, high and turbo white brightness settings. With the light on double click the button to access the red light each press will change between constant on and flash. Hold the button down again to turn the light off.

The lantern is powered by a built-in 1600 mAh lithium polymer battery that is charged via the micro USB port on the side of the lantern. Simply remove the dust cover on the lantern and insert the included charging cable into the micro USB port and then the other end into either a computer/laptop, a USB mains adaptor or a USB car adaptor.

The charging light will be red while charging is in progress and will turn green once charging is complete. If the light is green as soon as the cable is plugged in, this indicates that the light has sufficient power and does not need charging yet. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour, 40 minutes.

The switch has a built-in battery power indicator which will show remaining power by pressing the button once while the light is off. Green constant on is 85%+ power, green flashing is 85%-51% power, red and green alternate flashes is 50-21% power and red flashing is 20% or less power.

A built-in hanging loop makes it easy to hang up inside the tent or from a tree branch outside while the strong magnet on the bottom of the torch is useful to attach the lantern to a car or other magnetic surfaces.
