The GP Safeguard is designed for outdoor use as a security light as it helps you access your property in the dark or alerts you to any uninvited guests.
Powered by four AA alkaline batteries, the light can be situated away from a power source, which is handy if your shed is at the bottom of the garden.
Two 50 lumen LEDs provide a combined output of 100 lumens and they can be set in the off position, on position or in the passive infrared sensor mode. The infrared sensor reacts to movement in the dark, so if anyone approaches the light within 8-12 metres distance the light will come on for 10 seconds, or stay on if movement continues within the sensor area.
The sensor detection area can be reduced by covering the sensor with the included sensor mask which is customisable to your needs. Each light head can be adjusted 50° vertically and 60° horizontally and the middle pivot can be adjusted 120°, so that you can position the light exactly where you need it.
The light can be fitted either permanently with the screws and raw plugs or with the ability to easily move it with the L bar fixture that fits round a beam with a minimum thickness of 45 mm and a maximum thickness of 125 mm.
