Very bright and does what I expect from it. Definitely worth spending the extra money for this light. The cheaper model for unilite has a weaker and less even distribution of light. Downsides of this model is that it is fairly bulky and it could distribute the light to a wider area. Very pleased with it.

Fantastic personal light Sunday, 29 April 2012 - Christopher
This is my third head torch and it is the best personal light I've ever had. I use it in my garage as I have no electricity there and it gives as much light as you would ever need. The white light is trully white (unlike other Cree LED lamps which give cold blueish unpleasant cast). This is also the reason why I chose Luxeon Rebel LED type lamp and not Cree one. The downsides: it could be even more versatile if you could fit standard AA batteries and adjust maybe a bit wider flood beam but it's all right as it is. The other downside is the quite high price, but for what you're getting I think it is justified. I couldn't find any better head torch than this. Very, very satisfied.

Unilite Prosafe PS-H6 Monday, 14 November 2011 - Rosemary
Excellent head torch offering as much power as I will ever need, together with a really good range of beam adjustment, three very usable light levels and the benefit of being able to carry the battery pack in your jacket pocket. I use this for early morning/late evening dog walks in woods and along the local canal towpath. It replaces an 18V handlamp which offered plenty of light, but was heavy to carry and annoying when you need both hands free to sort out the dog. I normally only use the mid power (180 lumens) level for the woods, and the low power (50 lumens) for the canal, but it is reassuring to know the 350 lumen output is there if I need it. The torch will automatically switch to a lower power setting to preserve battery life if full power has been used for an extended period. The range of beam adjustment is very good and the focussing lever is easy to use. I can't really comment on the range of the narrowest beam setting as I don't find I need to use it, but the uniform light spread of the widest beam setting is a real revelation compared to the "hole in the middle" beam of a Maglite D cell torch. With the battery pack in a pocket, the weight of the torch itself is hardly noticeable. Basically I have no criticisms at all. Sure, it isn't cheap, but I think it is well worth the money and I am very pleased with it.
