We have an in-house professional laser engraving machine and a selected range of our torch products can be laser engraved. Our engraving machine uses a fibre laser, which provides a fine, accurate beam of powerful laser light to mark your product perfectly and permanently. We have skilled and experienced staff, trained by the manufacturers to ensure that you receive a top quality permanent marking on your product.
How it works
We are currently offering a free laser engraving service, so there no charge, this is subject to change and is a limited time offer.
To obtain this service simply enter the text that you wish to be engraved (this could be a name, number, slogan etc.) into the text box on the relevant product page and then add the product to basket.
If you wish to order a second torch of the same type with a different engraving, simply remove the previous text from the engraving box, enter the new engraving text, and again add the torch to basket. The basket page will show the torch, with the engraving underneath, and the quantity. To change the engraving text, please remove the item from the basket and start over.
The standard font we've selected and use when engraving your item is ‘Arial' as we find it gives the best results. Depending on which item is being engraved, our machine operators will adjust the text size to fit the available space. Please take great care when typing your chosen text, as our system will capture, process and replicate exactly what has been requested. Mistakes cannot be corrected.
We are able to reproduce lowercase, uppercase, numbers and punctuation marks. Larger torches will allow a maximum of 20 characters (including spaces) per item, however smaller products will have a 5 or 10 character maximum allowance due to the restricted space available. This information will be shown underneath the engraving form at checkout.
Some products will not offer the engraving option on the product page either due to lack of space, incompatible material / finish or that the packaging is not easily accessible.
Please Note: We cannot offer a refund or exchange for engraved products once the engraving process has been completed, because the product has been personalised.
I have a particular hate for torches where you have to press buttons 20 times just to get some light out of it! This makes it very difficult to pick a torch that fills all my other needs but also can be turned on (and off!) with a single button push!
The product descriptions are excellent (other vendors should think carefully about this point) and go into fine detail about how the torches are operated and how to select different modes that might be available.
On rare occasions where I might still have a query then being able to ask this directly and get informed answers is so refreshing and helpful.
I really wish all online purchases were like this.

Although I have a rechargeable head torch already that I also bought from Torchdirect and was it was suitable for what I needed at that time, I needed a more powerful torch and having owned an Led lenser before and found it utterly reliable I decided to buy a head torch of the same brand. It was delivered very quickly. I have found my new purchase to be really good. Although it is a bit heavier than my old head torch I soon got used to it and I am more than satisfied.
Fan is versatile and has good fan speeds very pleased with it
My Nebo torch takes an hour or two to fully charge so these batteries are great because they have their own charging port so you can still use the torch while these are charging via a USB c cable and then have them ready as a spare to use immediately if the battery in the torch runs out whilst you are using it.
I bought this torch as a gift. The recipient thinks it is a great piece of kit. Easy to charge, excellent broad and narrow beams. They think I spent a lot more than I actually did for such a great torch.
There is a reason these guys are so highly rated, Im glad I decided to speak to them about what was apparently a "non fixable" LED Lenser torch. Everywhere else I tried, let me down and tried to sell me a new torch straight away, but I didn't want to give up so easily, so called these guys and I knew straight away I was speaking to the right people. They didn't try to sell me anything, they gave me great advice, they checked my torch, and at first they did say it might be a tricky fix but to let them look into it further, I thought this might be a polite brush off tbh as I had lost faith, but less than an hour later, Stewart in their team called me back and said he has sourced the part (Faith restored). I have since made several purchases from this company, all of which have been superb. Highly recommended and feels good to know i'm supporting a family business, they take exceptional care of you when you need anything, and I will always check out what's new in their store as they update it regularly. This is a powerful torch with a concentrated beam. Plus it is small & rechargeable. You won't be disappointed....

The torch is super bright on the top setting and very good on the lower intensity settings. Great battery life - excellent for walking the dog at night.
Previous experience and checking out what is available now there are many keyring torches with a key fitting at the opposite end to the torch but not long enough to shine light on the keyhole and insert the key at the same time, therefore "Not fit for purpose" This one has a keyring already fitted and after fitting my keyring to this I have plenty of scope to shine the light on the keyhole and fit the key. Wonderful.

This torch is very small and light, but packs quite a punch with the 500 lumens.
OIt is to replace my Fenix E15, it is lighter and overall smaller but has an extra 50 lumens
I cannot fault it in any way!

No problems with the batteries, performance is good ado what they say on the tin. Unfortunately the original P7 Signature wasn't and fried the new battery, the same as the one I had bought it to replace. Fortunately, Torch Direct preformed admirably as usual and just replaced the torch within a few days without any quibble. Wonderful service TD keep it up, I will be back again the next time I need a replacement item.
