This multi-functional LED head torch with red and white LED combinations is useful for normal torch use and also safety applications.

Complete with two sets of LEDs (1 x 0.5W Nichia White LED and 2 x 5mm Red LED's) operated by separate switches for independent operation of the LED's. A light output of up to 26 lumens makes it perfect for small jobs or close-up work. Using the red LED's helps preserve night vision.

The Silverpoint Scout comes complete with battery one AA Alkaline battery and is water resistant.

A comfortable bright torch.

Overall this is a comfortable and bright head torch. One switch toggles the single very bright white LED on/off, the other toggles the dual red LEDs on/flashing/off. I bought it for Astronomy use, with it's dual red LEDs. My only complaint is that the red LEDs are a bit too bright for looking at white star charts, but perfect for doing other things.
