All that is needed is contained in the box, although the gun mount is a little fiddly to use. There are better ones out there which would enable quicker mounting of the the torch. Nonetheless, it will hold the toch in place in good alignment on both 25mm and 30mm scopes. The torch provides an impressive good tight beam out to 60 yards, and easily illuminates targets well over 100 yards away. Well made and economical on batteries. However, I have nothing else to compare it to, hence the 4* rating. Maybe it deserves a 5*? My only gripe is that you have to press the pressure switch quite hard and the rubber it is made of does not stick well to anything so is hard to attach to the stock of a rifle. Lenser P7 & Gun Mount Pressure SwitchThursday, 14 July 2011 - Michael Can't fault the torch, very good but the remote switch needs an on/off mode as you have to hold the switch in the on position all the time. I found this resulted in holding the gun stock too tightly to maintain the light and affecitng accuracy. First time out so may get used to this but a positive on/off would be better.
