Excellent product. I use this around machinery in an environment with alot of mist from steam /water and find the beam penetrates through this upto around 4m
This is the first professional torch I've ever purchased, I did a lot of looking around before i took the step and it was the Led Lenser M14 that I liked best. It wasn't to expensive and had a nice lumen's level to go with it. Its also a nice size, it can fit nicely into my jacket pocket with no problems, the batteries that came with it didn't last that long which isn't a problem as I purchased some AA rechargeable batteries with a 2500mAh output which are lasting longer and performing better which is surprising and makes the torch more worth the money.
My overall consideration of Led Lenser products has fallen in the last years, but the M series is definitely a step in the right direction. The sliding focus works better than in my T7 and P17, with a smoother beam that's wider when defocused and less angular in tight focus; intermediate settings are still full of rings and dark spots, but in real life use it's less of a problem that in white wall tests... light regulation is very far from great but at low levels works well. the real strength of this flashlight is flood mode, and the low level is both very usable and relatively conservative in battery drainage... a pity that LL still inflates data shamelessly... don't expect battery life to be even close to the declared values!
I purchased the M14 primarily for work, It has a wide flood and clear coverage, suitable for occasions when I need a portable light at work. It then doubles up for security having a great spot, also strobe. I had read on a review that it has rings of light. This is true on the spot and intermediate focus but not on the flood. When using the spot for distance you are not aware of the rings at all, only when using the spot close. Most would only use the spot for distance so the rings dont matter. Im delighted with the M14, it suits me perfectly. I like the Micro Switch system and have mine set on defense. TORCH DIRECT ? = What can I say except very professional assistance. great web site.
I think it was the brightest for its size class. 220 lumens I think. It had the best features and had one of the highest battery life usage. 95.5 hours(?) on low light setting. Basically the best one without it being the size of my arm!
The service I received in one word brilliant, friendly service, will use this company next time, the torch lives up to its rating, never had a torch this good in my life, just buy it.

I ordered my M14 torch inthe UK for the simple reason,in stock. Whilst dutch dealers have no clue what type and no knowledge of what is to come from zweibrueder electronics, you should almost think that there not interested. And not un important as well "the Price", and of course a magnificent piece of defensive light. Thanks overthere in the UK i will soon order again. Gerard
