LED Lenser Intelligent Pouch

The only intelligent thing to do with this pouch is not to get one!!. Considering the product they are intended to hold is so well designed the pouch is not, in my opinon! Why does the lens holder on the top of the pouch not screw on?, instead it just pushes on and falls off when cought. The best thing to do would be get a complimentry pouch with the Torch itself!! Service from tourch direct brilliant I just could not be bothered to send it back.

The holster is well made and the belt clip is excellent. Beyond that ....

Dichroic filters ... why? They're not robust (easy to scratch and they're exposed); they allow light spill in other colours ... I could go on. The filter holder won't fit inside the holder. Instead it pushes on outside and can drop or be knocked off and lost. Spare filters are not readily accessible; they're held behind the holster in fiddly elasticated pouches. I would forgive most of this if this set came with robust, coloured plastic filters ... but it doesn't. I emailed LED Lenser about this and received a very polite reply saying they "try to find a compromise concerning function, material, weight, dimensions, price etc" in their designs. I replied that "the compromise seems to have been reached with the materials being a little too exotic and with some lack of function". I'll be sticking with the holster supplied with my P7.

Great Pouch but as I don't use the filters I have taken them out and taken off the filter cover because I think that it would get lost, perhaps they could just make the basic pouch for the MT7 without filters. Torch Direct provided an excellent service and the Pouch arrived the following day.

The belt case is well made but one serious flaw in my opinion is that the filters are only kept in place by a "compression" ring. The ring isnt very firmly attached and I don't think I would have it a day "in the field" without losing the ring off the case. Also the filters appear to seriously reduce the brightness of the torch so if the intention is to use them on a gun mount, forget it!! All told, if I had seen this product up close before ordering it, ...well .. I wouldn't have. Delivery time etc was the usual excellent service I have experienced with Torch Direct on every order I have made.

A lot more practical than the standard LL.NP/5891 holster. The torch is much easier to insert into and remove from the pouch. You don't have to actually attatch the color filter directly to the torch to use it (although you can...). Just leave the torch in the pouch and switch it on. Convenient!

This pouch will replace the standard pouch which comes with the P7, it is a lot sturdier than the standard pouch and has better fastenings as well. The elasticated bit at the back which is supposed to store spare lenses is a bit of a pain as they are a nightmare to get out unless you have really long thin fingers, and I'd also be concerned about them getting scratched over time, so I'll be storing my lenses elsewhere. Overall though, very good.

I work at sea and find the P7 a vital tool that I use daily. I purchased the pouch so that I could have a sturdy red filter on my P7. This pouch pack is good although the rubber attachment is a bit tricky to fit the filters into but other than that a great product. The service provided by Torch Direct was excellent. The order was received promptly with no hassles. I will be shopping with them again!

An excellent addition to your Lenser torch! This pouch is more rigid than the pouch which comes with the torch and it can be clipped on and off any belt with ease. It can also be rotated so sits in different poitions on the belt. I have the T7 and it fits just right allowing hands free lighting. The coloured filters are stored on the back of the pouch and the filters can be clipped directly onto the torch if you want to use it out of the pouch i.e. on the gun mount. Highly reccommended, service and deliverly from Torch Direct excellent.
