Bought for night hiking. Fast delivery. Huge & controllable light output, incredible battery life, lightweight & comfortable. It's not sold as being waterproof, otherwise would be 5-star. Highly recommended!
I ordered this torch around 5pm and it arrived at 8am the next morning!! Faultless service. The torch itself is superb and cannot fault it. I bought it having seen a fellow runner with one - it has made my running in the dark a lot easier!
Simply an excellent torch. When my previous one died on me (lots of abuse) I decided to get the same again as it is simply brilliant compared to anything else out there. This latest version actually has minor improvements that will make a difference to longevity for example the wire into the battery pack has reinforced connection and now also flexible. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to actually see things in the dark.

I've been night running with a Petzl TikkaXP2 for a couple of years. All my winter running is on the same trails I run in daylight, so I get a lot of use out of a headtorch. The Petzl was fine for paths and wide trails, but whenever I venture onto single track and rocky technical trails, I have to carry a handtorch to gain the extra light to avoid hazards. It seems pointless and a nuisance having to carry two torches. Not any more! I now have a searchlight strapped to my head and the Petzl has been relegated to the rucksack as a spare. Good points apart from the awesome light intensity include the focus feature, the handy angle variability of the lamp and also the easy to use dimmer which allows me to step up the light on the tricky stuff and back it off to save battery life on the wider trails. Its my first headtorch with a rear mounted battery back and I haven't quite got used to it yet and its slipping around a bit. Perhaps a top strap would hold it a bit more securely. The strap adjustment isn't that easy to adjust on the move but now I have fiddled with it a bit it shouldn't need adjusting during a run. It would be 5 stars if the strap was a little easier to use, but its a minor niggle in reality. Not sure how it will work on a wet night but most torches aren't fully waterproof anyway. This headtorch is a bargain when compared to similar power output torches from other manufacturers and it gets a big thumbs up from me. To finish off, the super rapid delivery was impressive; I ordered this on Tuesday night before xmas and it came Thursday morning, standard delivery!! First Class!
First class delivery and a First Class product. The Lenser gives an extremly good light and leaves your hands free. My first head torch. Very pleased with it.
