Perfect for lightweight camping. HandyTuesday, 6 April 2010 - Paul Feels a little flimsy (hence 4 stars) but is a fantastic little lantern. We have two which live permanently in the roof tent on our Land Rover they've been in there now for two years and are still on the same set of batteries! Forgot to take out the batteries when the vehicle went into storage and were surprised to find they still work. Battery life far exceeded the suggested 25 hours for us when used 15mins a time. Really useful little gadgetWednesday, 6 January 2010 - Chris Bought this as a cheap light in case of power failures or for camping trips. Only gave 4 stars because it feels a little cheap in the hand and takes 2x CR2032 batteries, which means you can't recharge them, but it certainly does the business when lighting a room. The single LED gives off enough light to do most things by and lights up a large area from the mirrored insides. Not sure whether I'd use the flashing function, but could be useful for walking in the dark when on dark country lanes. |
