The Ansmann Powerline 5 Zero Watt is a professional standard battery charging and maintenance unit for one to four AAA or AA cells, one to four C or D cells and one 9 volt PP3 NiCd or NiMH rechargeable type batteries.

An intelligent charger with LCD display with Zero Watt technology to disconnect itself automatically from the mains power when the inserted batteries are fully charged.

This new technology means there is no standby power consumption.

The Powerline 5 charger can charge up to 4 x AAA, AA, C or D NiMH / NiCd cells in addition to one 9V block.
